WIFA...Urban Roller Skates
The FRANZ WITTMANN shoe factory was founded around 1920. By the end of the 50's, the first skating shoe collection was created under the brand "WIFA". Soon WIFA was one of the world's leading brands in ice and roller figure skating. In the spring of 2020, a true roller skating hype arose due to the pandemic, because this dance sport could be practiced at home or outdoors in a small space.
When the hype spread to Europe, WIFA followed the urgent call to produce high-quality roller skates made of leather. Here it was necessary to build up a completely new collection of leather shoes, which were to meet completely different demands: Flexibility, comfort, good foot climate with the highest possible proportion of natural materials. The result was the STREET collection with its now three models and over 20 colors.
The WIFA complete skates are paired with STD (Skating Technical Development) plates. STD has a complete range of products designed, developed and manufactured in its own headquarters in Spain. State-of-the-art and high-tech materials are used in all the brand's products. The contributions of professional skating technicians and athletes play a big part in the development and evolution of all STD products. STD roller skating equipment is suitable for all levels of roller figure skating sports from beginner and novice skaters through World Games athletes of all ages. Most frames can also be used for serious recreational, urban and derby activities, too.
The service time for your WIFA® boots and skates will be 4-8 weeks. Allow 1 extra week if a different inline or quad frame will be installed. If added, your frame size will be determined by the boot size ordered.
