Inline Slalom Skates
Inline slalom skates are specialized, high-precision skates designed for technical freestyle maneuvers, rapid cornering, and weaving through tight cone patterns. Unlike standard recreational options, many of these skates prioritize maximum energy transfer and agility, typically featuring an ultra-stiff carbon or composite boot, an integrated liner for a direct response, and a short, built-in "rockered" frame. A rockered or banana-rockered frame raises the front and rear wheels slightly higher than the center wheels, mimicking a curved ice skate blade to make tight turns and artistic transitions effortless. Slalom skates usually do not have a heel brake because it would interfere with many of the maneuvers. But, sometimes junior or entry level skates will have a removable heel brake.
